Are you planning on using Daybooks in your classroom this fall? I think I am. I'm also considering a class-wide daybook that we pass around and share in. Kind of an artifact of our shared journey...

Classwide daybook sounds interesting!! What kinds of ideas might go in there?

Laura, thanks for sharing your voice with us. This so amazing and we are our worst critics. Continue to sing and make songs as you wish(please!). Last year was my first year using daybooks in me classroom. It kept my students organized and myself (stock up on glue sticks). I would like to use 3-5 digital media websites in my class and put many sites up for students to explore. As for inquiry, I want my students to write down something that they would like to learn about and work towards a finish piece. I'm very excited about the outcome-- I'm already thinking of June 2013- END IN MIND

i had trouble defining my inquiry, and then i realized that my inquiry was creation...writing using music and mixing myself with other media

which digital media websites are you planning to use? I think inquiry implies thinking, and inquiry in a digital world requires a lot of doing as well. for me anyway, inquiry is the beginning of creativity.

Interested in how your understandings of inquiry has changed. What were your old beliefs? What are the intersctions?

I will make a blog post that specifically responds to this question. I will tweet it when I write it.
